HOURS & PRICING

Gab tattoos by appointment at Bee Ink in Minneapolis. Due to a high volume of clientele, appointments should be scheduled via email (gabyunistattoo@gmail.com) or through the contact form on this website.

Bee Ink’s minimum is $100 and Gab’s hourly rate is $180/hour (cash only). Consultations can be accommodated without a deposit, any time, via email. To schedule a tattoo appointment, a $100 deposit is required to hold the spot, and it will be deducted from the total afterwards. Deposits are non-refundable upon cancellation, but can be transferred to a new date, as long as rescheduling is done more than 24 hours in advance (unless in the case of an emergency). Please understand that this fee covers the time that artists allot for drawing a design, or blocking off appointment slots from someone else.

Special events and travel dates will be announced on Instagram.

PRE-TATTOO

  • Please eat prior to your tattoo appointment, as you cannot get tattooed on an empty stomach.

  • Bringing snacks and a water bottle is highly encouraged.

  • Keep in mind that your clothing may get ink on it, so wear something that you don't mind getting dirty.

  • Please don't take anything other than Ibuprofen (if necessary) for pain.

  • Please don't bring more than one guest with you.

SANIDERM AFTERCARE

  • Leave the Saniderm on for 3 days.

    • Fluid (blood/plasma) will accumulate underneath the surface of the bandage and it may create a bubble. The liquid might be discolored and opaque, but that is normal and it should remain untouched for the whole of the 3 days.

    • If the Saniderm comes off before the 3 days is up, hand wash your tattoo with warm water and unscented, antibacterial soap. Apply a thin layer of ointment after cleaning (A+D. Aquaphor, Bacitracin, etc.) and wrap the tattoo back up with Saran Wrap. Repeat these steps 3 or 4 times per day, or as needed, for the remainder of the 3 days.

    • If fluid leaks out of the bandage, leave the Saniderm on your skin as long as it remains moist underneath the film. If at any point, the tattoo gets, looks, or feels dry, remove the Saniderm immediately using the procedure below.

  • On the 3rd day, remove the Saniderm under warm, running water by peeling slowly from one corner of the film. Pull gently until all of the Saniderm lets up completely, and then hand wash your tattoo with unscented, antibacterial soap.

  • After the first 3 days, leave your tattoo uncovered and begin applying unscented, color-free lotion 3 to 4 times per day over the next 7 to 10 days.

  • No soaking, swimming, tanning or shaving for at least 2 weeks after getting tattooed. Steer clear of pet dander and debris.

  • Once your tattoo is fully healed, remember to always apply a minimum of 50 SPF sunscreen for preservation.

  • In the case of infection (puss, abnormal pain, swelling, discoloration, etc.) see physician.

  • Touch ups on my work are free of charge if you take care of your tattoo and imperfections remain unrelated to improper aftercare practices.

SARAN WRAP AFTERCARE

  • Keep tattoo covered for 30 minutes to an hour after leaving the studio if given Saran wrap instead of Saniderm.

  • When you take the plastic off, hand wash your tattoo with warm water and unscented, antibacterial soap.

  • Apply a thin layer of ointment after cleaning (A+D. Aquaphor, Bacitracin, etc.) and wrap the tattoo back up with Saran Wrap.

  • Repeat the above steps 3 or 4 times per day, or as needed, over the next 48 to 72 hours.

  • After the first 2 or 3 days, leave your tattoo uncovered and begin applying unscented, color-free lotion 3 to 4 times per day over the next 7 to 10 days.
